Yoga trains the body, calms the mind, teaches how to breathe to increase airflow, supports respiratory and cardiovascular systems, which automatically gives more energy for better functioning. Next to uncountable physical benefits, it teaches how to be disciplined, and focused, but also kind and loving towards one’s Self. As a result, we become more balanced and aware. From there the healing and growth process starts. WHO recommends yoga as a powerful tool for individuals, communities and countries to improve not only physical but also mental health.<br>Connecting with the body is a very powerful tool. Even a thing like setting boundaries which is a nightmare for many HSPs, can be learned in the body.
My approach to Yoga is classical – I teach asanas, breathing (pranayama), concentration (pratyahara and dharana), meditation (dhyana) and philosophy (yama and niyama). In order to make your way towards Samadhi or blissfulness.
