I’ve read that Yoga comes to our lives when we are ready. That happened to me a few years ago, brought all blessings and stayed.

Yoga trains the body, calms the mind, teaches how to breathe to increase airflow, supports the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, which gives more energy for better functioning. Next to uncountable physical and health benefits, it teaches how to be disciplined and focused, but also kind and loving towards one’s Self. As a result, we become more balanced and aware. From there, the healing and growth process starts. WHO recommends yoga as a powerful tool for individuals, communities and countries to improve not only physical but also mental health.

Connecting with the body and inner Self is a powerful tool. Even a thing like setting boundaries, which is a nightmare for many HSPs, can be learned within your Self.

My approach to Yoga is classical – I teach asanas, breathing (pranayama), concentration (pratyahara and dharana), meditation (dhyana) and philosophy (yama and niyama). To make your way towards Samadhi or blissfulness.

The styles I teach are Hatha, Hatha flow/Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga. But above all, I like to call it Sel – Love – Yoga.

At this moment I give lessons stationary at the Alfa Balance Yoga en Yoga therapie in Papadrecht. You can book at this link: les rooster/ to book
